Cover letters – why bother?
At a recent seminar I announced something that unsettled the jobseeker audience. I tore up their cover letter efforts in one sentence.
“People rarely read your cover letter”
The audience gasped.

I came to see Sal with some real roadblocks as far as my career, my abilities, my belief in myself and my life in general, that I had been carrying around for years, not knowing how to overcome them. Throughout my sessions with Sal she really cleared the path for me to be able to think about what I really want in my life, how to go about finding that, and gave me the direction and drive to do something about it. By challenging me and asking questions that I had previously try to avoid, the sessions were the turning point to totally change my career direction for the better - and in turn, change my life for the better. Help‚ my inbox is out of control! Keep your out of office on and help people to help you become more organised, inform them that you are working on a deadline, project etc and that you will attend to urgent matters by phone!
